Every country takes care of the selection of their team. The German part is organised in four consecutive competition rounds, the first two being homework-based while the last two have seminar style. Every high school student at German schools and younger than 20 years old is eligible to participate. Further information is available on the German pages.

However, the excercises of past years are available in an English translation and can be found in the download section or on the page of the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN).
