The FChO (Friends of the Chemistry Olympiad) is an association of former participants and supporters of the IChO as well as teachers and other interested people. Being founded in 1992 it compromises now more than 400 members - from high school students to professors, and industry representatives.

Our goal is to support the national Chemistry Olympiad, as well as promote interest in chemistry via an expanding variety of activities intended to spur interest in chemistry at a very early age. Furthermore we provide a lively network between school, university, and industry true to our slogan "Inspire enthusiasm. Foster vocation.".
